This bed is the perfect solution for my small bedroom. I'm fairly lightweight and don't move when I sleep, so twin is a perfect space saver. The stacking trick makes it possible for me to have company and give them a place to sleep. Not fancy, but neither am I! The box was heavy, so I carried the pieces into my workspace and somehow assembled both beds in one night by myself with the help of a couple props and some brains. The instructions had good drawings, but they didn't have labels...which was a problem at first, cause I put the legs on the wrong board first off the bat. It all worked out in the long run after I also figured out that one of the legs was improperly drilled (rather not drilled through so that the bolt would connect to the board on the other side. They have a pretty ingenious system, and everything seems to be very snug and sturdy even when stacked, tho I don't think one could jump on it unless you replaced the wooden slats with something stronger. If you set this up alone, you will need a prop to hold the boards up. attaching the legs to the 2nd end requires that. You will also need a screw driver in addition to the allen wrench they provide. I'm now waiting for the mattresses so I can actually sleep on them! If anything breaks, I'll come back and add more to the review. In spite of the glitches, I feel comfortable with my purchase...and it looks quite nice...the drill hole I had to make was made invisible by the decorative bolt, so even that little problem was of no real consequence in the long run. I must add a thing about the timing of delivery. The delivery date kept getting pushed back...As did another item I ordered at the same time. If you're in a hurry, consider that. This is the first time I've bought from Wayfair so it will make me more cautious if I come back again.
