Redoing our teens room, and she wanted something with enough space for sleep overs, but also free space to do activities in her small room. Compromise was this sweet bed. Not done with the room makeover yet, but she is happy with the mattress as is. The bottom mattress can fit a 5inch thicker gel mattress or 6 inch fluffy mattress. Pictured is a 5 inch gel and it fits snug when closing. The top is an 8inch mattress, we were going to do 10, but she didn’t want it to be taller than the edge.

This arrived super fast! Easy to assemble and super cute! I got it for my toddler so we put scotch guard on it. The only thing I need is for this storm to pass and I’ll go get my mattress.

Love this. It’s my primary bed. I’m downsizing and it’s just perfect. I have an 8 inch mattress for the top and a 6 inch for the trundle.
