This is a beautiful bed! With the exception of the last two pieces (braces across the top back and the top itself) I put it together without any assistance. The instructions were pretty good, except that it wasn’t clear that you don’t need the wooden piece as part of the wall anchor if you don’t have baseboards. This resulted in me taking it completely apart and putting it all back together again. The only minuses are that the locking mechanism seems quite cheap, as do the handles…and the straps to hold down the mattress aren’t well positioned. I will have to figure out a solution for that since they are screwed directly into the frame.
