This murphy bed is NOT an easy 60-minute assembly as described. However, it was manageable with two people and the final product is beautiful. The mattress was shipped separately, so just be aware that the mattress may not arrive on the same day as the boxes containing the bed.

Love the look and serves the purpose for what we needed. Bottom drawer won't close 100% flush with the rest of the front of the cabinet. The way the instructions require you to put it together means you can't really test some of the mechanisms until you nearly have the whole thing put together and it isn't worth taking apart. Otherwise, looks great and seems sturdy.

Pros- piece seems sturdy and was not difficult to put together, but did take over an hour. Cons- The color isn’t exactly how it appears online, it is more orange toned and the screws for the hardware are not long enough to reach the handles.

It took us several hours to put this together. Some of the hardware spots were not drilled correctly. We received a side panel with a crack down the entire length (which is on the inside). We didn't notice until we were part way through the installation. It's constructed really well, but I did purchase additional bedding so it would be more comfortable than the mattress it came with.

What a great concept - a bed when you need it, a nice furniture piece when you don't. I upgraded the mattress to a 6 inch and swapped it out, just so my guests feel a little bit more comfortable.
