Méridienne pivotante avec repose-pieds Hearl

The chair is actually very comfortable as it should be for the money. The issue I have are the stark white stitching all around the seams of the chair - very odd and not a nice look (see pictures). Makes it look so cheap!! Very funky and off beat - was not mentioned or reflected in original specs. I would not keep this chair but we have it in a man cave so not many will see it . Have to say tho that the white stitching is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen on a piece of furniture. I have considered that it might be one of those stitching pieces only until delivered and assembled … There was no mention tho in the literature for putting the chair together so thought better of trying to rip off the weird white stitching as it might actually would be the final stitching. Unless WayFair says otherwise on this weird stitching I would clearly NOT recommend anyone to purchase.
