I wanted a shiny brown and this is more of a matte, deep charcoal. Other than that, it looks nice, provides storage and is the right size.

We loved the design and the colour of the wood coordinated well with the other Wayfair furniture in our room. We were disappointed however when we were assembling the unit. One mounting clip for the middle shelf was positioned improperly requiring it to be re-drilled and moved in order to allow the shelf to sit firmly in its place and the original holes had to be filled. Also the top 5 inch portion of the centre support strut was cracked requiring repair with wood glue and clamping.

Solid wood with sturdy handles. Color will go with grey and expresso decor. Glass adds a richer look.
