I wanted to love this ottoman. It is big so my two yorkies have a place to lay with us on the couch, the fabric is soft and it looks luxurious. Those are the upsides. The downsides are: 1) It took about 3 weeks to receive, even though it is made in the US; 2) the coloring on the top fades quickly - I have only had this ottoman for a little over 4 months (purchased Jan 25, rec'd in Feb 16 - today is July 5) and I have it covered with a blanket at all times for my dogs; 3) it is caving in - in the middle - so it is not sturdy or the padding doesn't hold up - my two yorkies lay on it - both together weigh less than 20 lbs. I've added pictures so you can see for yourself. If you are purchasing this as decoration and not to be actually used - it might be worth $700 - with tax and all I paid $779. I spent the extra money to have an oversized addition to my couch for my 2 very small dogs. I would NOT buy this again. I am very disappointed. I never look at 1 star reviews because they are normally about things that cannot be helped - like shipping issues. I'm giving this product a 1 star review, because it is not worth the money I spent. I have had it 4 months and it looks like something I have used for years and have kids jumping on it - NOT the case.
