The product didn’t look well finished. It is definitely solid, but there was white streaking all over and a lot of it will not come off.

The table is solid and cheap, and it looks solid and cheap. The good: The table is sturdy. Assembly was pretty simple, but the instructions have two steps reversed (you need to complete step 2 before step 1). The bad: The ad describes the table as solid wood, which is true in that it's a very thick engineered wood with a wood veneer. However, the veneer color is more uneven and the veneer finish quality is poorer than it appears based on the photos. The sliding mechanism for the insert is thick, dark wood that does not have veneer, and it is clearly visible when you look at the table from the side, which is hidden in the ad photos by the angle at which the photos were taken. The legs are solid and strong, but the veneer grain of some legs has a white powdery material in it that cannot be removed. I now plan to always have a tablecloth on it, and in that case the table will work. I think if I had gotten this table used for $100, I'd feel like I got a good deal.

I'm very happy with the quality of this dining table. It's very sturdy and like that it is extendable. Need two people to put together in order to line up screws and holes easily. Would definitely recommend this dining table!!

It’s a pretty table and very steady and heavy. Best to have two people to assemble and it requires drilling holes.
