Table basse Mariabelen

Coffee table needed to be fully assembled, with difficulty on several of the screws. One screw would not go in. A friend who makes furniture tried to help, but when we tightened the screws that were in they poked through the top of the table--indicating very poor quality. I took photos and contacted Wayfair. Your "virtual assistant" said to return the item, which would be a complete waste of money and time since it was unusable. This assistant then told me it showed up on its screen as having been returned, so not to worry about it--credit should be issued soon. It was NOT issued, table parts were discarded, and your site still shows it as "return pending." I am waiting for my refund.

I was a bit disappointed in the quality of this coffee table. The wood is very cheap and has a lot of imperfections and deep scratches. Both of the rounded ends of this table have visible chips in the wood. This box seemed intact, but the Styrofoam inside was pretty banged up upon opening. So, this damage may have occurred during shipping. The table is lightweight and only took 15 minutes to build. The hardware pouch was missing an Allen wrench, so if you purchase this table, you may want to have your own tools handy. It's still an ok table, especially for a first apartment.
