This coffee table is entirely too short to be functional with the table portion lowered. It looks much higher in the pictures but you need a really low sofa to make this usable. So disappointed!

This coffee table was one of, if not the, easiest pieces of furniture I’ve ever put together. It consisted of three pieces and six screws. However, I took off one star because of the packaging. You would think it was the Crown Jewels. It was encased in styrofoam and cardboard, taped together well, and then completely covered with plastic wrap! Then more styrofoam and cardboard inside that.

This fluted lift top coffee table is absolutely beautiful. It looks exactly like described in the listing. The wood is a dark black without a brown undertone. The table over all is not extremely big nor tall so check measurements closely to couch size. It has tons of inside storage and is very well made. My favorite part is it is pretty much assembled. Just a few bolts to out base and top together and it’s done! Hands down one of the easiest Wayfair items to date! Buy it!

Assembly was easy but once we got it put together we noticed there was a significant chunk and dent on the side of one of the top pieces. The entire top was also covered in scratches. Looks like we got someone’s used return. The two top pieces won’t meet in the middle so there’s a huge gap and one side lays crooked so stuff will roll off of it. I reached out to customer service and my options are to either live with a janky piece of furniture for a small discount or return the 65 lb piece of furniture for a refund. But the box it came in is now destroyed so there’s no way it’s able to be shipped back unless I want to spend a fortune on buying a huge box to ship it back in. So I guess I’m stuck with a piece of junk and out hundreds of dollars. Also, the color is more cherry than walnut.

Just as described! Very nice finish and the amount of storage is impressive. I especially like the lifting tray, it’s very smooth and easy to open and close. Very happy!
