This table looks legitimately nothing like the photos in the ad. What the website images show a solid light wood table with clean, straight lines and timeless silhouette. What I got a grey toned table with nearly black grain, whose legs are half moon shaped, and whose top curves downward like a mushroom cap. It looks like it belongs in a 2004 computer lab. To top things off, the entire transaction was a nightmare, start to finish. The delivery was late by a matter of weeks, which caused it to show up while I was out of the country. The deliverers also ignored my instruction to put it on the side of the house, so I had to call in friends to move it off of my front sidewalk. Somehow, the return process managed to be even more abysmal than the ordering. I began the process on March 10th, and was unable to get this hideous thing out of my house until yesterday, March 21st. The instruction from Wayfair is to wait for an email to schedule a pick up date. I waited a week before I finally caved and called the support number that was supplied. The person who answered that call, after 6 minutes of being on hold and then hung up on, seemed genuinely stunned that I would have the audacity to try to schedule a pickup date, and tried to tell me I would have to move it outside myself even though I selected the option to have it removed from inside. Mind you, this return cost me 150. I finally got it scheduled for March 22nd, but then got an email a week later saying they moved the date— without any confirmation from me— to the 21st. When they finally showed up, they were nearly a half hour past the end of the window I was given. I’ve been a Wayfair customer for the better part of a decade and will never shop with them or their affiliates after this nightmare.
