⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Low-Profile Bed Frame — Especially Nice for Senior Dogs I’m very happy with this bed frame and would definitely give it 5 stars. One of the main reasons I bought this style was because I wanted something low to the ground, and it worked out even better than I expected. If you have senior dogs that sleep in bed with you, this is a great option. The bottom of the mattress sits only about 2.5 inches above the floor, and the mattress actually sits down inside the frame instead of sitting completely on top of it. That keeps the overall bed height much lower than a traditional frame and box spring setup and makes it considerably easier for an older dog to get on and off the bed. For reference, the mattress shown in my picture is a 14-inch mattress, so that should give you a pretty good idea of the finished height. Even with a thick 14-inch mattress, the bed is still nice and low. It also looks much cleaner than simply putting a mattress directly on the floor. Assembly was very straightforward. Everything was packaged well, the pieces were easy to identify, and once I had everything laid out it went together without any problems. It took me about 30 minutes total, and honestly most of that time was spent unpacking everything and laying out all the parts before I started. One tip that will save you a LOT of time use an electric screwdriver or drill with Allen-wrench bits and a Phillips bit. You can absolutely assemble it with the included hand tools, but I wouldnt unless you really enjoy turning Allen wrenches. Using an electric screwdriver probably saved me close to an hour. Just keep the torque low and finish anything youre worried about overtightening by hand. Once assembled, the frame feels very solid and stable. The mattress fits down into the frame nicely, which keeps it from sliding around and gives the whole bed a more finished appearance. I also like that there isnt a large gap underneath for dog toys, shoes, and everything else in the house to disappear under. The only thing I would change is the height of the headboard. It is definitely on the low side, especially when using a thick mattress like my 14-inch one. I knew that before ordering because the dimensions in the description are accurate, so Im not deducting a star for it. I just think the same frame with a headboard several inches taller would look even better. If youre using a thinner mattress, obviously more of the headboard will be visible. Overall, this turned out to be exactly what I was looking for low profile, sturdy, simple design, easy assembly, and a much better height for older dogs. It feels well made once everything is tightened down, and I like the way the mattress sits recessed into the frame instead of balancing on top of it. If youre specifically looking for a low bed because you have an older dog—or you simply dont want to climb into a ridiculously tall bed every night—this one is definitely worth considering. Very happy with it and would buy it again.

Its low but its what you'd want. The color is lighter and different, but okay.

If you don’t mind a very low bed. It’s easy to put together and very elegant looking. Sturdy, clean look. Would recommend.

Lovely material, sturdy bed. It is however extremely low to the ground. Probably lower than anticipated. Still very pretty bed.
