This is a very heavy, well made headboard. It is just what I needed. My cats send their approval too. They love to sleep in the cubbies.

Th bookcase headboard took less than an hour to put together. Sturdy piece of furniture.

We love this headboard for my son’s room. The bed has to attach to the wall and doesn’t attach to a bed frame unless you bought the running boards, which I don’t see on wayfair. Great news for a stinky situation - we had a welder make brackets so the headboard attached to the bed frame with the running board slats AND we were able to spray paint the metal brackets black which matched perfectly abs looked like it was made for the bed since it has some black metal on it for style across the top anyway. The quality of this furniture is amazing. We are trying to get all pieces in the collection to have a complete set. Unfortunately, through COVID we have had to buy one or two at a time and just cross our fingers the others will come in. The only major piece we still need is the desk. We have the 4 drawer dresser, night stands, the horizontal dresser and the square mirror. They are all WONDERFUL. Just keeping my fingers crossed that the desk comes back so we can purchase it.
