I absolutely love it! There are quite a few parts to assemble, but its stunning and well worth it. The price is fantastic too!

I half-way expected the directions to say, "First chop down a tree and cut it to manageable parts", because you will need to assemble EVERYTHING. Not a problem if the holes for the screws were in the right place. The desk had "pilot holes" less than a mm deep and I was using a drill/driver. The manufactured wood was so hard and the screws so small that I needed to resort to drilling the pilot holes deeper. The directions are terrible: drawings only. If the drawings had been more accurate and complete, it might have helped. We finally got the top done and thought the legs might be easy. Nope. We had to drill into the metal of the legs because their holes didn't match anywhere. But there are good parts too. I love the finish, it's easy to clean and so smooth that I can use it for drawing without worrying about bumps. The drawers are shallow but still helpful. The back part of the surface lifts to reveal a cavity for placing power strips and cords. I love that feature, even if it uses some of the desktop's space. Since I'm not using the desk for electronics, the cavity comes in handy to use as additional storage. The cavity has soft-close hinges, not sure why. The desk is very heavy and the locking castors on the legs help for moving. I am puzzled with the title, "Reversible Desk". Not sure what could be reversed. If it hadn't taken so long and so much effort to assemble, I would have given the desk 5 stars. So, three stars are based solely on the difficult assembly.

It took me a week to put this together. I am not very handy and the directions were awful. It says not to use a power drill but the holes aren’t pre-drilled and I didn’t have the strength so the power drill is a must. The desk is really pretty and the design is great so I was really looking forward to finishing this however, I just got done and the top storage part does not close all the way and the drawers would not shut all the way. I finally gave them a good push and they did do in all the way however, they would not open back up and the drawer front ended up popping off when I tried to open it. Super disappointing.

This desk is ok, it’ll do the job. However, the directions were a nightmare. The directions showed not to use a drill, we ended up pulling out the drill. The holes are essentially “marked” but if using a screwdriver you really have to use force to screw into holes. If you use a drill be careful to not split the wood. The directions showed a lot of things backwards and we had to just use common sense on how to actually put this together. Quality isn’t the greatest but I do like that you can hide cords in the top where it lifts up towards the back. For the price of this I feel it could have been made better with better instructions

Like the other reviews, it takes some focus and patience to assemble the desk, but once done, it’s totally worth it! Great desk - both function and form!
