Very nice, but the side leaf doesn't go flush with the side. It's a bit larger than I had imagined, but nice quality overall. I have added a butcher block, also purchased from Wayfair, to the top for cutting.

This island has been a real life-changer! We used the “white-glove” delivery, and they brought it into our kitchen, added the rollers, and carried off the wrappings. Well worth it!

Love this beautiful kitchen island which I'm actually using as a room divider between kitchen and dining room. The top and drop leaf aren't true butcher block since they're finished wood and can't be used for chopping, cutting, etc., but the overall effect is nice. I had looked for a long time for an island in this color, that came pre-assembled, had built-in (but invisible) wheels for easy moving, AND had the drop leaf. I could scarcely believe it when this one turned up on Wayfair's site. Storage capacity is good, and drawers are of a good size and open and close smoothly. What's not to love?!?

Nice well made piece. The top is glossy like others have stated but it still is a nice piece. The only thing I find strange is that the fold up leaf does not fold down flush to the island so it always looks like it’s sticking out a little bit. Other than that, great so far.

The island is beautiful and well made. I love it but was a little surprised to see the counter top was finished. I had expected a butcher block style top with an unvarnished wood. It also weighed about 40 lbs more than listed. The invoice showed 170 lbs. Otherwise, my shopping experience was great. I was really nervous about purchasing an expensive item without seeing it or touching it first. I feel very comfortable in purchasing more big items for my home now. 5 years later, my door hinge broke. I contacted the manufacturer American Heartland Manufacturing from Kentucky and they sent me a new hinge for a reasonable price plus shipping. The whole experience was easy and customer service was extremely helpful and friendly. They certainly stand behind their product. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.
