It's pretty basic, the finish is mediocre, very flat. I added polyurethane to help it look better.

The bench is very sturdy. I love that it came already assembled. Looks great at our entryway!

Wasn’t painted very well. I’m gonna have to repaint it. Otherwise, it would’ve gotten a nice review.

I like this bench. Super cute. Just as pictured. A little narrow but perfect for small spaces!

On the webpage, the listed features say, "Fully assembled and ready to enjoy right out of the box!". It is not. Assembly was tricky because the "predrilled" holes are only partially predrilled and need to be redrilled. Because of the limited space between the seat and the shelf, it's difficult to get a power drill into that space to redrill and then screw. The slats for the shelf were not carefully cut and are not exactly the same length. The wood has a lot of marks on it, perhaps from the manufacturing process. Once it's together, it's sturdy and attractive enough. It's just unfortunate that it's poor quality and falsely advertised as preassembled.
