Directions are terrible and sometimes contradictory. Thankfully, putting it together is pretty straightforward. Quality seems good and the look is nice. I like the flexibility in how the shelves may be positioned. The Raycin, Jashelle, Dakeisha, Cecyle, etc. bookcases are all the same product (from DaVee Furniture) and can be mixed and matched to your liking. They seem to be sold by different middle-men suppliers though so take care not to get overcharged. Millwood Pines (one of the suppliers Wayfair uses) had us waiting over FOUR MONTHS for delivery of the Dekeisha and Cecyle. They (and/or Wayfair) kept arbitrarily pushing back the shipping date and nobody could give us a definitive answer on when they would arrive. Turns out the Raycin and Jashelle are essentially identical products even though they're assembled differently in the photos. This would have been nice to know 12-14 weeks ago. Other things I learned: Unless you want to cancel orders, first level customer reps are generally useless. You have to bump yourself up to "Customer Care Representatives" who have the enviable task of only responding 3-4 days out of the week. Again, not much help there save for one genuinely helpful rep who recognized the ineptitude inherent in the system and did her best to sympathize (if you're reading this, you know who you are and you were awesome). TLDR: In our admittedly limited Wayfair bookcase ordering experience, Millwood Pines couldn't hack it while Latitude Run® and Loon Peak® managed to deliver the same things within a few days. I dunno, maybe it's because they both have a ®. Gonna think long and hard about ordering from Wayfair again.

Just what I needed

Utter garbage. Some of the shelf panels were damaged before they were packed a shipped from the factory anyway- damage to panels but no damage to packaging. Decided to keep it anyway and assemble it to best conceal the damaged pieces. Took the time to put all of the sub-assemblies together- extremely poor fit, finish, and mating of surfaces. Oh, well, I’ll cover those uneven gaps the best I can, don’t want to deal with the hassle of returning something this big and heavy. Get down to final assembly, and using the minimal torque provided by the included Allen wrench, the threaded inserts spun and pulled out of the lowest-possible grade particle board before ever even pulling taut. Last straw, now waiting on Wayfair to let me know how they will handle this pile of scrap waste sitting in my living room, since the manufacturer has been completely unresponsive. Do yourself a favor and avoid any and all products from this manufacturer.
