I am happy with the new dining room set as far as how it looked brand new out of the box. After having it now several weeks though I think I probably would have chosen something else for several reasons: it is impossible to get the wobble out of the chairs. The finish on the wood scratches super easily. It won't stay nice for long. The stain is very unevenly applied, making it look as if there's almost something wrong with the wood. Lastly, the fabric on the chairs spots with even water drops. I wiped the chair lightly with a damp cloth when my son dropped a soggy cheerio. It left a water ring. This set is beautiful if you only plan to look at it. But if you have a family that wants to actually sit and eat, buy something else.
