This was very easy to put together! It is some sort of soft pressed wood not try solid wood as advertised, but it’s cheap so that is the trade-off. I got this for a coastal room I’m building, but it is a very HONEY-TONED wood and I do not know if this will be stainable since it’s not true solid wood. I believe other pictures I saw were edited or filtered to give a more neutral tone so be careful if orange is not what you are looking for.

I am so happy with this table coffee table. It is sturdy, but not too heavy. If you wanted to stain it, you could but I like the natural color.

Easy to put together. As another reviewer said, no polyurethane on top so will do that before heavy use. Mixes very well with coastal decor.
