Avoid at All Costs – A Complete Disaster!
I purchased a slate pool table from Wayfair in January and paid extra for their "professional assembly" service, which is outsourced to Angi. What a mistake.
The first set of "installers" they sent had no experience installing slate pool tables. They were literally watching YouTube tutorials as they worked. They put together part of the foundation and then gave up, saying they didn’t have the tools or knowledge to finish the job. I called Angi, and they apologized, sending another team days later. Unfortunately, one of the new installers admitted upfront that he was not qualified for the job either.
I had no choice but to hire an actual professional, who not only completed the job but had to redo the work Angi’s team botched in the first place.
When I requested a refund, Angi’s customer service was an absolute mess. I have emails confirming my refund was approved, yet they later claimed my invoices were "edited" and refused to process it. Meanwhile, Wayfair washed their hands of the issue entirely, despite the fact that I purchased the assembly service through them.
It's been two months of back-and-forth, with no refund and no accountability from either company. This has been an absolute nightmare, and I wouldn’t recommend Angi or Wayfair to anyone.
Do better, Angi and Wayfair. Give me my money back!
