We are disappointed with the cabinet, although thanks to the efforts of my wonderful husband, who managed to fix most of the problems, we decided to keep it. The shipping box appeared undamaged, but we could hear something rattling around inside. The legs of the cabinet had been slamming against the cabinet during shipping. They were not wrapped/protected or taped in place; they were loose in the box. The thin wood back panel of the cabinet was cracked. The two c-shaped legs themselves were held together with staples - not nails or screws - staples! One of the legs had a cracked mounting brace, and needed a screw to secure it. The second mounting brace was complete detached and needed 2 screws to put it back together properly. Next problem: the screws supplied to attach the legs to the cabinet bottom were too short,so my husband had to countersink them into the wood to reach and attach to the cabinet. The rest of the cabinet was fully assembled, and once the leg problems were addressed, we attached the knobs on the front. Then we had to clean the cabinet, especially the bottom and the back, and inside all the drawers and cupboards, because it was covered with cobwebs, dirt, dust, and sawdust. It needed a lot more than a light dusting - it was filthy. The only other thing that we didn't expect was the color. The cabinet is much darker than pictured on the website. On our monitors, it appears to be a fairly pale grayish-tan. It's actually a rich brown, more of a teak shade. Not as dark as walnut, but darker and richer than oak. We like the color a lot. Going by the online photo, we thought we might have to stain it to go better with our other furniture, but it's already a good match. We have ordered quite a few things from Wayfair, and 90% of it is as expected, often better. This cabinet was not.
