Very nicely made. Was worried the "ribbing" on the rebar would look too coarse and industrial but it wasn't. They are a bit heavy though, so something to consider if you want a stool that easily pushes in/pulls out with one hand (so not great for a house w/ kids). You'll need both hands for these. I'm 5'4 and 118 and the seat was a bit small, even for me. I'd consider them more of an aesthetic statement than somewhere you're going to spend a several hours working or having cocktails w/ friends at a kitchen island. See photo to see how high they come up on your back.

These turned out great in my modern home. My only complaint is that they are VERY heavy and hard to pull out from the counter. Also, it looks like some of the gray cement bled into the rebar legs where the seat connects. Otherwise, they look industrial and are well made.

Beautiful, unique and perfect for the space.
