Armoire-penderie Mulberry (Ensemble de 3)

This is tedious, flimsy cracked broken I need this out of my house and get my money back ASAP I have not seen any poor quality that is sold For that much money for that much money

These are very large and definitely take two people to assemble. I would give five stars but I only gave four because they only come with two movable shelves. For the size, they really should have three, or even four movable shelves.

The specs on this piece are hugely misleading. For the 3-piece armoire set, it says you get 12 shelves. But you don't - they only send you 6 to cover all 3 armoires. They are counting the floor as a "shelf" even though it is part of the cabinet frame. They also count the drawer frame as a "shelf". There is a lot of empty space no matter how you decide to divide the measly 2 shelves you add to each armoire. No matter where you put the shelves, the spaces between each shelf is a whopping 1.5' . Ever try to stack clothing up that high without it falling over? The armoires are huge pieces and take up a lot of real estate. I bought them because the description promised me 12 shelves and I needed a lot of clothing storage. I don't have that and the units are a tremendous waste of space. Even if you put reasonable stacks of clothing on each shelf, there remains so much empty space on top of each stack that is unusable and a waste. It took my contractor over 8 hours to assemble the armoires. There were so many boxes that you don't realize until near the very end that you don't have all the shelves. I bought the units specifically because of the 12 shelves promised and the poor design and price don't make this a good value at all.

I like the size and the design, and the color is the most beautiful blue. The armoire looks nice in our hallway. The parts are well organized and well labeled, and the assembly is straight-forward. (I suggest postponing step 4 until after step 5. It is easier to center the upper bar (part 13) after step 5 because the upper bar does not have pre-drilled holes.) The engineering is very good but the quality of the hardware and the materials is not as high as I expected, especially for $1599. For example, the drawer bottoms are very thin. The roller tracks work OK now, but they seem fragile. Five years ago, when I lived in France I bought an armoire about 2/3 the size for less than $300 and the quality of the materials and the hardware were much better. (See item 702718 at conforama.fr) That’s mainly why I am disappointed in the overall quality of this armoire. Even though this armoire is not what I expected, it does solve our storage problem and it looks nice.

The 3 sectional Delhi wardrobe is very beautiful. It’s larger than I imagined. It’s huge with good quality material. Nice! My husband was able to build this huge armoire following the video and the instruction guide. It’s also very sturdy so he didn’t even need to anchor it to the wall with any security pins or pulls. Love love love my wardrobe. My house is lacking storage space so we used it as a linen and towel closet. It’s worth the buy.
