After receiving two desks both have the same issue. Yellow corners. Not sure what this is from - maybe stored in a hot warehouse for too long Not sure but the discoloration is permanent and cannot be cleaned off…really disappointing. Would have been a beautiful desk otherwise. Manufacturers need to quality check before shipping. Also know this is extremely heavy!!!!

Beautiful desk! But like the reviews say, the black scratches way too easy. I opened a book on the desk and spun it around and it left marks. At first I thought it scuffed easy and you just have to rub a few spots out but after the book incident, i thoroughly agree, it scratches too easy. Debating if I should get a custom glass top for it. SMH. Everything was packaged well but I noticed that there were some hard stains on the gold. The gold has more of a rose tint to it despite what the box says. Wish it had a hole in top of the desk to fish the wires through to use the outlets in the drawer. The only way you could get a clean look, wire wise with this desk is to have it against the wall. I really wanted a desk that I could put in the center of the room. It was a great size and decent quality but I don’t recommend buying it in black.

I was so disappointed with this desk considering how expensive and large it was. The desk itself was about 150 pounds in the box and way too heavy to even move, when I asked for help from a friend to move it, we opened the box up and started putting it together, and once we were almost finished, we noticed a huge dent and scratch on the surface of the desk, and the desk was damaged. And there was no way the damage was from us. I can’t even return this desk because it weighs so much, I can’t even pack it into the box. I would have to hire someone to move it for me. And now after the desk is being used, I have found that the surface the desk is made of, scratches soooo easily. Paper scratches this desk, if you want scratches everywhere on an expensive heavy piece of furniture , then buy this desk. I posted pics as proof. I’m sure you’ll love seeing your money go to waste everyday with paper use on your computer desk that nearly cost me 1000
