Its definitely taller than expected, its actually taller than my couch by a bit so Im not sure it will work quite as intended as an ottoman sort or pouf. It is soft tho and I like the taupe color, and my cats enjoy it as a cat bed.

this ottoman is incredibly light weight, and very firm. It’s fine but certainly not the best quality out there. I didn’t read the description closely and didn’t realize it is 20 inches tall and thus too tall for my purpose.
