We loved the piece when we saw it on line. However, as a heads up, the lovely leather door fronts looked cream in the picture. When it arrived, we were disappointed to see that the doors were darker - a sort of putty-coffee light colour. We were going to send it back. However, we decided to live with it for a bit. After much examination and some consultations with a few honest friends, it was decided that it contrasted but still complemented our decor. We grew to love it and now feel it works for us. It also looks like a much higher end piece between the leather front and the sophisticated gold accents.

Wouldn’t recommend, the gold accents of the handle and base are not at all the same color! Too expensive to not be cohesive.
