I purchased this sofa because my disabled mother will be visiting and cannot climb stairs. Unfortunately, despite being advertised as a sofa bed, it does not convert into a bed, which was disappointing and the main reason for my purchase. That said, I do like the sofa itself. Assembly was straightforward, it feels sturdy, and the corduroy fabric is soft and attractive. I also appreciate that the cushion covers unzip for easy washing. I did try sleeping on it, but the armrests are very hard, making it less comfortable for overnight use. Because it doesn't function as a sofa bed as described and isn't ideal for sleeping, I'm giving it 4 stars. If you're looking for extra seating rather than a sleeping solution, I would definitely recommend it.
