The drawers are flawless and smooth. It looks more expensive than it is.

The piece is almost what I expected for the money--that said, consider the following: 1) the 1st piece we received we returned because of damage (not transport damage, but obvious factory defects). Luckily, we live 1 mile from Wayfair's brick & mortar store in Illinois, so the return was simple (staff at the store get 5-Stars, BTW). The second piece we ordered arrived fine--if it had not, we'd have cancelled everything. 2) Packaging is something else!--2 boxes (both quite heavy so we are grateful for our teen son!) are jamb-packed with lots of Styrofoam, so unpacking to ensure nothing was damaged in the second shipment, and getting ready for assembly, took quite a while. There was Styrofoam dust everywhere! That took way > 1 hour, for sure, just for unpacking and cleaning up! 3) Assembly: as reported in other reviews, assembly is tedious so you need patience, even if you're super handy. We paid to have ours assembled by Wayfair, but in our market the service is actually executed by Angi which, in turn, subcontracts to a handyman to do the assembly. On the day of assembly, I had unpacked and cleaned off every piece in the boxes and laid them out to fit the chronology of the instructions to make it easier & get the assembler out of our home (I'd scheduled an evening install). The Angi handyman (who was kind) that serviced our job advised, upon arrival, that he was allowed 2 hours to complete the assembly & if he was not finished, we could pay for added time & reschedule. . . the guy felt super guilty sharing that previously unknown tidbit. Not too happy w/ that but I was hopeful--since I'd lain everything out--that he'd finish in 2 hours. He did not &, at 7:40PM, we wished each other well. Our call to Wayfair regarding the incomplete service was fielded by a helpful agent who 1st recommended we reschedule through Angi but ultimately agreed to credit back the assembly fee when I said I'd finish it myself. My son and I performed the remaining steps in the installation, which we finished at about 9PM. SO, about 4 hours to assemble (pro x 2 hours) + (son & me x 1 hour)--not counting the time to unpack, clean and lay out. 1 non-handy person doing this themselves will take an entire day, for sure. The dresser is now fully functional & we're happy with the way it looks. The assembled piece weighs a ton--when we move, I'll probably just leave it!! As stated in several other reviews, the door glides are dirt-cheap. Some reviews state that the piece is high quality. . . it is not. The piece will damage easily on edges / corners, the drawers are a bit too shallow and, again, the drawer glides are loose-ish. But, if you're look for a super-cheap option to fill a need (ours is a basement room that can flood), it'll be fine. Buyers should know that this is simply not a high-quality item. We're docking 3 stars on this one because of the hassle in needing to order it twice, finish the assembly ourselves, and spend so much time cleaning up all of the Styrofoam dust!

Great drawer but it took A LONG TIME to build. Really really long. Great drawer though. Can hold a good amount of clothes
