Aesthetically pleasing but not comfortable. The chair cushion is very hard. It might work better as a dining chair where one isnt sitting for long periods, but then there would be a surplus footstool. The colour was true to the picture and it was very easy to assemble. I am disappointed that it is so uncomfortable, as I bought this specifically to relax in.
