The back of the chair is just a board with cloth over it so having pillows is a must. They are good for now but I will upgrade to a nicer chair in the future.

This product is cheaply made. The back pillow is so cheap, flat and flimsy. It does not hold up at all. When you are sitting in the chair you are leaning up against the wood frame because the back pillow is pretty much non existent. The arms are held on by Velcro. If I could I would return it, unfortunately it’s past the return date and I’m stuck with a cheaply made chair. I would not buy this chair.

So comfortable! My dog and I cuddle up in the evening after work for relaxing wind down before bed it is so soft and I do not feel achy and creaky after sitting in it for a bit
