Like another reviewer experienced, the upholstery arrived stained with dirty handprints and black streaks. Makes it seem like it's used but I think the manufacturer is lacking quality control. Didn't have trouble putting it together. It suits its purpose however I'm disappointed with the stains as this went in our nursery and we'd expect clean furniture when ordering from Wayfair.

The bed is great! Very comfortable and maneuverable. I think I would go with the thinner mattress as it gets stuck sometimes when pulling the trundle out

DO NOT BUY. Wish I could give it a zero. Instruction manual was different online vs what was in box. Wrong tools provided. Spent hours working on it for the final step to be wrong. Material was dirty. Customer service was nothing short of pitiful. When asked for replacement parts, I was told because I requested more than 4 it was likely to be canceled.
