I love this coffee table! So many of the faux marble tables are cheap and lightweight and the base isn’t substantial. This piece, although less than the 200 lbs described in the product description (more like 50 lbs) still feels substantial. The top is a high gloss and the brass base is hollow but not “painted”. Assembly was a breeze and took less than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend. Sturdy but because of the pedestal design wouldn’t put anything too heavy on the edges.
