7/31 update- We love the look of the bed but the metal things that hold the mattress up are terrible. Every time my daughter moves they squeak. We'll try to see if we can put wooden slats in their place. My daughter loves this bed. The ruffles and light are exactly what she wanted. The fabric on the headboard is a soft creamy velvet perfect for a pre teen girl. It took my husband a couple hours over three days to put it together. It is a metal frame so it should be sturdy for a long time.

In the first picture you can see where the screws and the heads of them stick out through the fabric this was a huge disappointment as you can hurt yourself on this. The Bedtime does take some time to put together and as you can see illuminates very nicely with hidden storage.

This bed frame is super cute! I was pleasantly surprised when I seen it came with the bed skirt. I also plugged in the lights to show how they work. I think I’m really going to love it! I highly recommend!
