This is a nice, heavy stand. The lacquer is a shiny black finish. The instructions are super simple--much like a Sauters Furniture piece if you have ever put together an entertainment center or cd/dvd stand. I'm not crazy about the fact that you literally have to put all sides and bottom of the drawers together instead of them being shipped in tact, but what are you gonna do? Wayfair DOES offer an expert to assemble for a fee. I used this service before, and he arrived at my home on time, played with my chihuahua (who wanted to help), put together my 6' cabinet and lifted it into place for me!!! I highly recommend this service and this sturdy stand! This is soooo Gorgeous put together!!! The shiny gold knobs and legs make this end table sooo rich looking! I truly LOVE THIS!!!

Love this night stand! It’s perfect! I love it in the black with the rattan drawer. Easy to put together and looks nice in the one guest bedroom. The gold legs give it a great looking accent to the night stand.

I think this is a pretty stand, however a few things that I don’t like about it. Mainly the drawers that do not line up correctly. My husband assembled it and said the pre drilled holes were not lined up correctly so the drawers don’t sit the right way, leaving a gap at the top drawer. Otherwise, it’s a very cute stand.

Very happy with these nightstands. They are perfect for my small space. It was easy to assemble just took a little while.

Easy to build, sturdy. Perfect height next to my tall bed. very satisfied, would definitely recommend
