Love, love, LOVE!!!! These counter stools are exactly what I was looking for. I have a very mid century eclectic vibe in my house and was looking for some 1950's soda shop style stools with blue velvet. Boom! My new countertops have a bit of blue running through them and I am thrilled the color of these is right in the same family. They match the stock photos on the listing well. These took a while to get here as they went on back order, but I still recieved them within 3 weeks of ordering them. Once shipped they got here fast. There were no directions included on how to put them together. But if you have put together enough office chairs with a hydraulic piston in them it is super easy. If not I believe directions are available online in the listing. These are very stable, they have a nice soft tush cushion, and the velvet is absolutely lush. One of my favorite purchases on Wayfair.

There is a lot to like about this set of stools. For one, the chrome base and velvet seat is a contemporary with comfort. I wanted to point out how plush the seat is, so I took a close up of it. It is very comfortable, and the padding on the back is great too. The last aspect is the seat size. I love that these have a wider seat. It helps distribute weight, and adds more comfort to people with more seating space. The velvet is soft, and I chose to order in gray. The chrome and gray are beautiful together. It is a monochromatic look, but showcases complimentary surfaces. It is also great that these adjust in height, and makes them adaptable to different counter and guest height. All in all, a very well designed set of bar stools.

Instructions aren't great - I have no idea how to make it adjustable, but luckily I only need it to be at the lowest height. Otherwise, it's beautiful and looks as is. It's not the most stable, but fairly stable and comfortable to sit on.

Super cute and comfortable. Bonus, when my kids swivel in them, they don’t bang into the counter!
