Size is perfect for small sitting room as a much needed piece of furniture - it's picture is much nicer than it is in person, however. The fabric is that everyday micropoly stuff, at least in a good color to fit the room and needs. The gold band is a nice touch but it really is an inexpensive piece of furniture overall. Delivery kept getting delayed - but arrived in a sturdy box and well covered.
