Easy to put together and looks great in my entryway!

Low review for quality control. I needed a drill and a hammer as well as a phillips screwdriver. I had to drill four holes wider and deeper to get the screws in. Then, on the bench piece, oneof holes for the dowels were too small. I needed my drill for that one, and a hammer for some of the rest. Is there a point to dowels if they come in and out easily? I say no, and so does a side of the bench where they were too loose and the side kept coming apart as I was putting the rest together.

I got this bench about 4 years ago. It is in our entryway and I got the black one. I still love it! Great quality and has held up well with daily use of sitting to put our shoes on. It did take me over an hour to put it together on my own and I did leave it in the garage for a couple weeks because of the chemical smell, but it was fine after that and it was worth it.

Looks great and feels very sturdy. The cushion is comfortable and the seat works well as a bench in our entry way, plus it is far enough off the ground to slide shoes under, too. Very happy with this purchase!
