I got this for my daughter to go in her art room. We haven’t yet painted the room, but this desk is a perfect fit for a small place. We actually have it in an oversized closet we have converted for her. It was a pain to assemble. It took me about 2 hours to put together, but it definitely serves its purpose well.

This is a great desk for a compact space. There is plenty of storage for office supplies. The shelf underneath can hold notebooks, paper, and art supplies. It is big enough to fit a comfortable chair under. A great desk!

This desk, while somewhat attractive, & came packaged very nicely, was VERY DIFFICULT to assemble, and this is from someone who has much experience with assembly of such items. The parts themselves to the desk were labeled, but the hardware was not, and while they do give you a count on the items for the various hardware pieces, since many of the screws & wooden dowels seem similar, it took extra time to figure out what pieces were for what part of the table to assemble. Finally, the sliding doors to the desk (while a nice touch) were really a pain to assemble as the instructions don't make clear which rails get attached to what section of the desk. Had to assemble that by trial and error. Once the desk was assembled however, it looks nice, & for a simply accent table for the living room area, where we could add a few photo's & a lamp, & utilize the desk as a place to plunk down a laptop when we want to be in the living room, it serves the purpose, and seems sturdy and while the item is obviously particle board, the finish is rather nice, so I would give it overall 4 stars for it being a decent accent desk, however only 2-stars for ease of assembly.

Worst peace of furniture i ever purchased , very poor instructions to assemble

I needed to downsize from my previous desk and this one is perfect. i struggled in one spot during assembly because i could not tell i had a piece backwards. other than that it was a fairly routine assembly.
