Commode double 6 tiroirs Alasdair

Great piece, well constructed and the wood is gorgeous! Only issue is that the piece was obviously refurbished from prior delivery damage. As a hobbyist carpenter, the fixes were ok, but definitely not completed with care. But the installers took photo's for Wayfair customer service and they took a little cost off the top for the damage. Was not expecting that and was very impressed with the install and the customer support!

Great looking dresser and nice that it comes fully assembled, but noticed a couple issues right after unpacking. First, the upper left corner was pretty messed up looking (see pics). It's scratched and slightly misaligned. This was surprising, given the good amount of padding and packaging on all corners. Second, the bottom left drawer originally did not pull out all the way. We had to manually take it out, and we noticed a screw was in the wrong place. Was easy to put the screw back in, but then when we re-attached the drawer to the rails, the drawer still did not fit properly. It's like the railing is a few millimeters wider than the drawer, and now it wobbles back and forth. Both defects were very disappointing, given the high pricepoint of this dresser. I expected better quality. Also, I would not say these drawers are soft close. They aren't perfectly aligned with each other (which you can see in the full picture), and sometimes require an extra push at the end to get it to close fully. Lastly, the dresser gives off a chemical-like smell when you first open the drawers (same with the matching nightstands). Recommend opening your windows with all drawers open so it can air out.
