Finally, a mat that is heavy enough to stay down on my medium-pile carpet with a cable underneath, smooth enough for my chair's brass casters to glide easily when I want to move (and not before I want to move), beveled so the casters move gently off the edge without snagging the edge, plus it looks cool (like crafted glass).

I have terrazzo flooring and was worried this would not work out. I was pleasantly surprised, works great!! My chair rolls smoothly over it, no problems.

This chair mat looks crisp, clean, and clear (like glass), which is why I selected this product. It is not heavy as a glass mat would be. However, the mat does not stay adhered to the carpeted floor, even with the sticky tape that came with the mat. But I would still purchase this same chair mat as it is clear, which is the look I wanted and the carpet is protected from the chair legs.

This was worth the price , my desk chair now can easily glide and I don’t need to worry about the carpet underneath
