The color is not the same as that shown in the picture

Was sadly disappointed in this product! It was nothing like the picture that was presented. Two additional shelves versus the three as shown. The center piece was such that the pins on both sides cannot be put in the same hole in the center so as to make the shelves even on both sides, Instead the shelves have to be staggered. For the price of this item, I feel I that the I have been let down, big time!

I ordered this bookcase because the dimensions matched precisely the alcove where we wanted to place it. It's not the best quality, and probably not worth the price, but it met our specific requirements in size. The problem is that the bookcase doesn't match the picture - it's a greenish color rather than oak as shown, and it only comes with 2 adjustable shelves on each side, rather than 3 as shown. The color difference was a shock, but it actually fits well with our living room, so that wasn't a problem - but it might well be a problem for others. The biggest issue is the number of shelves - I tried contacting Wayfair to get additional shelves but they say they don't have any spare parts. This means that we're stuck with having fewer shelves than we'd like, which is very annoying given the price we paid for this. If you don't need the exact measurements like we do, I'd strongly recommend not to buy this bookcase and get something better.

Accidentally bought the wrong color, sort of a grey/green. Still very nice with lots of room for books. Not your standard bookcase.
