Purchase for my son’s door room. Very nice amount of storage for the scale of this piece. Going to get another one for my daughters new apartment.

This is a very heavy dresser - over 100 lbs. That said, it’s not made of wood, just dense particleboard. Given its weight, I expected it to feel sturdier than it does. A few pieces were crackedchipped when we opened it up, and everything was very dusty, which made a mess while unpacking. There are so many pieces involved in the assembly! Even the metal tracks for the drawers have to be attached individually, which was tedious. The directions were pretty good, but because of all of the small pieces, it took 2 people over 2 hours to put it together. That doesn’t include the time it will take to carefully remove all of the stickers that they used to label the parts, which for some reason are affixed to the visible (outside) of each piece. It is nice looking and will serve us well as extra storage for towels etc., but I don’t know how well it will hold up over time.

Summary - This is the best of the “build-it-yourself” genre I have ever purchased. When the box arrived, it was very heavy, about 120lbs and bulky, make sure you have help to carry it! There are many parts and it takes time and patience to assemble. However, the final result was far better than I expected. The look and finish of the materials (all laminated) was great and the build seems very sturdy. The drawers slide well and there is plenty of storage space. We actually purchased two. My only complaint was that one of the holes for a drawer was drilled on the wrong edge of the piece. Fortunately, I had the exact sized drill bit and was able to drill a new hole in the correct location, to the precise depth needed for the anchor (a tricky maneuver!). I have faith the dresser will stay tight over the years, this purchase exceeded my expectations and I recommend it!!

Pay for the assembly. I did this along, with my partner back seat driving every now and then and it took me the better part of four hours. Lots of pieces and things to remember. I messed up on 3 different spots, but the end product is pretty nice! Did not wall mount.
