It’s not what I expected. It had a shiny gloss

I love this piece! But, there is a portion that wasn’t stained. I am going to have to try and match it and stain it myself. It was so easy to hang and looks great! Wayfair issued a discount to allow for my purchase and update. I would have given 5 stars if the piece had been fully stained.

Beautiful solid wood!

Good build quality. Solid wood. Nice finish and color. This is a solid floating console. I deducted one star because it hangs on a board with pre-drilled holes, and those holes are not 16” on center. Hanging this heavy console using drywall anchors is a terrible idea - it is far too heavy. I drilled my own holes to ensure the mounting screws made it into studs. Other than that one issue, it looks great.

Not only was the perfect size for the space, but it is a beautiful piece and easy to install!
