I ordered this bc of the ornate, cool shape. It was pretty straight forward as far as assembly, but it said “wood” but it’s just baked on stratified looking veneer. I knew I wanted change the color to match the rest of the wood in my living room, but you really can’t. Even a wood gel stain (after sanding) will not take. All in all they are still nice.

They have a nice sturdy weight to them. Looks like real wood from a distance.

Nice and sturdy end tables they compliments our living room nicely. Overall happy with them.
