Solid piece looks beautiful with fireplace on. The surface is ruff in some places and it arrived with some small nicks where there’s missing paint. It looks more rugged than I expected. But overall the unit is nice.

There are many good things to say about this TV stand and the fireplace, but I do want to warn others of some of the issues. First of all, it was not made clear that the cabinet and the fireplace would be shipped separately. I didn't mind but I would have appreciated knowing, the deliveries were a week apart. Now comes the bigger issues. Assembling the cabinet was quite challenging. My husband and I did it together and we are very capable with a lot of experience. The instructions were not clear and, once again, because the cabinet can be used with or without the fireplace, the instructions are confusing. We received extra shelves that would be used if we weren't inserting a fireplace. This is never stated or clarified in the assembly instructions. So we lost time realizing about mid-way through the process that there were extra parts that we would not be using. Some of the pre-drilled holes were not well aligned and we had to make adjustments on our own. When we first tried to add the long center shelf, it was so tight that it scratched the side wall. We had to remove the hinge on the side wall that had been installed at the factory before the shelf would fit. There are more examples but you get the idea. I'm not saying don't buy this unit, because it is good quality wood and the finished product looks very nice, but it was very frustrating getting to the end. The electric fireplace is very easy to use and install. It gives us just the right ambiance and warmth.

Love it! Saw this ensemble in an Airbnb while vacationing in Phoenix and was happy I finally found it on Wayfair. Overall four-star rating for the following reasons: 1. A little pricey at $1,500.00 maybe but I have the money... 2. Some of the parts did not fit during assembly so I had to use some skill to readjust to make them fit. 3. It Took almost 2-3 hours to assemble and I find myself very handy! Who said they did this in 30 minutes? 4. Some of the screws are in weird hard-to-reach areas making it impossible to use any power tools. 5. I finally have the final piece to my man cave and despite a small chip in the front, the unit looks fantastic! 6. Love the multi-switch ability to change heat settings and flame color 7. Remote control ability is priceless Again, I would give it a 5 star but the unit coming with pre-drilled screws and clamps in the wrong place warrants a hit. One of the screws on the front left leg is still missing but I tightened it enough to where it does not move. Then, while installing the main center shelf, the side clamps were wrong. So I removed and reattached them adjusting them to where they fit. This should have come like this from the manufacturer but but maybe the installer was in a rush to get off and go meet his wife. i took care of matters for him at a cost of about 20 minutes. Overall, GREAT UNIT!

Just set this one up. Took me about 35 min by myself. Very sturdy. Looks great!

I love my tv stand . It matches my tables from ashley .. the only complain is the it came with parts not labeled. Soo hard to put it together.. no letter, or numbers on pieces...but looks nice.i bought the fireplace insert separately..
