The bed itself seems fine - but the shipping and packaging left it damaged. Also the holes drilled into the headboard caused chipping all around the screw area. Not visible when assembled, but doesn't make a great impression.

The product said it was solid wood, but in reality, once we opened up the box we found the footboard was not solid wood but MDF with fake oak veneer. We also saw some of the veneer was chipped on the footboard. We quickly closed the box and got it ready for return. Watch out: Wayfair is charging us to pay for the return shipping for a product that doesn't match the description on the website. This was a major disappointment.

It’s terrible material
