5 star for the base, 4 star for the top. Base looks really nice wood, heavy and sturdy. The top looks veneer but ok. Works for the breakfast area.

This turned out to be a beautiful table... despite the fact that it was larger than I expected and the color was a deeper/darker brown than its picture. What impressed me the most was its packaging. It came in two boxes. Both arrived together, and both were packed amazingly well. Super simple assembly. I did it myself, but if you have an extra pair of hands it literally would take you longer to unpack the table than to assemble it. Definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful table!! Unfortunately, it scratches VERY EASILY. Understanding that, purchase at your own risk.
