At first, I was reasonably pleased with the appearance of these chairs, other than the fact that they are rather large (with an especially wide and deep seat), and they're really not ideal, in my opinion, for dining table chairs even though they were advertised as dining chairs. It appears that they're really meant to be a wooden version of a side/lounge chair, as they are too large for dining chairs, and the base/back of the seat sits rather low, causing you to sit back with knees higher than the base of the spine - not ideal for sitting at a table and leaning forward to eat. But the worst part is that the legs are not very sturdy unless you sit with your weight perfectly evenly distributed. If you sit with your weight more towards one corner or side of the chair, the legs on that side can't handle the uneven distribution of weight, so the legs nearly buckle. One of them has already cracked in one place. I would return them if I could, but it's past the Wayfair point of no return, so I'll probably try to sell them or just give them away for free. I wouldn't want anyone (guest, family member, friend, myself, etc.) to sit on one and have it buckle and break under them!
