The material is a heavy duty linen. The color is deep and saturated. The furniture is extremely well made. I absolutely love it and I am so pleased with my purchase. Wayfair is amazing!!!

The chairs themselves are wonderful, but very disappointed that the two sets of chairs I ordered (4 total chairs) did not match in color, which for a set of 4 chairs in one room just doesn't look good as 2 are one color, and the other 2 are the other color. I've attached pictures.
