Perfect for a 3 year old boy love it

Lovely; tough for one person to assemble, but not impossible. There is a gap all around between the mattress and the frame, but it’s space for me to tuck my bedding into. With the bedding tucked in, it retains the mid century look. I just assembled it last night, so I cannot speak to the longevity. However all pieces look solid, and I anticipate having this for years. My headboard is against the wall so this isn’t an issue for me, but if memory serves, the back of the headboard is not covered in the veneer. If you are planning on having the bed open on all four sides, you may want to consider your options.
